Dietary advice that is up-to-date, accurate, safe, evidence-based and provided by someone with actual qualifications and experience – well that’s a different story.

But that was only to get your attention. I don’t focus on weight at all. I focus on eating and food. If you use your weight to ‘force’, or make you ‘stick to’, a diet, then swing to over-eating when you hit a bump, then you need to sort out food thoughts and behaviours. Call it non-dieting, call it intuitive eating, call it what you like. But it’s definitely not dieting. Worth a thought if you have dieted your way to an ever-increasing weight. Or want to avoid all the dieting traps in the first place.
